I plan on driving through Payson, Arizona along Rim Road. There are tons of lakes in the area such as Bear Canyon, Knoll Lake and many other beautiful clear lakes. The area also includes open camping areas anywhere along the dirt road, and plenty of scenic routes perfect for off-road fun! The trail starts at the Jim Creek Recreation Area where there is dispersed camping throughout the area.
