White Rim Trail

The White Rim Trail is an iconic multi-day trail in Moab, Utah. The route encompasses over 90 miles of off-road driving in the beautiful Island in the Sky district of Canyonlands National Park. White Rim has Trail something for everyone. Besides enticing driving, the trail offers numerous hikes, an stunning views, and many campsites with absolute solitude. Traveling along White Rim gives a whole new appreciation of Canyonlands and a perspective of the park that can’t be attained anywhere else.

Joining us this month to tell us about their trip to White Rim Trail, Jessica took her 4 Runner through to this trail and shared their story with us.

How'd You Get Into Overlanding?

I started camping as soon as I was born and started off-roading in my dad's Jeep before I could legally drive. It has always been in my blood.

Hope because when I got it in 2013 brand new I needed some light in my life. The 4Runner brought it along with many new adventures! Hope for the future!

Favorite Cali Raised LED Product?

In February 2020, I bought an R-Pod to live full time on the road. Even though COVID hit, I was able to take my adventures and living out into nature in dispersed camping. I’ve been to six states so far this year and by the end of the year I’ll have added on at least ten more to end up on the East Coast. I love pulling my home because I can disconnect whenever I want and can go do some fun trails with the 4Runner. Some of the trails I’ve done this year so far are Storm Mountain, CO, Superstition Mountain, AZ, and White Rim, UT. I absolutely love all my lights and how they give me confidence at night when there is nothing else to see in the middle of nowhere. Anyone can see me coming from miles away.

Until next time! At Cali Raised LED, we not only want to encourage riders to try something new, (with all the proper precautions of course!) but also to not be too shy when it comes to checking out trails that they may not have thought possible. It's in our very slogan, "Rise Up and Seek Adventure." We really mean it.

Thank you for sharing your story with us.

If you haven't figured it out yet, we've been featuring a trail or national park or other must see location each month of the year, and sometimes we are lucky enough to find other off-roaders who have been there. They are kind enough to share their experience and their expertise. Want to be featured? Have a trail you think we should feature? Submit your photos and story to partners@caliraisedled.com to be considered!

  • One of my bucket-list things is to tour the Mountain time zone… Moab definitely fits that bill! – can’t wait!! Got some recovery boards with my suspension, I hear Mrs Claus may have picked up some cube lights for my ‘12 Tacoma hood…. and then borrow my buddy’s R-Pod teardrop and we OUT! :)
